Barn Swallow Praise
A family requested that I create a painting of birds on a wire for them. So, I decided to paint 5 swallows to represent their personalities. “Barn Swallow Praise” was also inspired by Psalm 59:16, “But I will sing of Your power; Yes, I will sing aloud of Your mercy in the morning.” These unique birds will nest anywhere and sing constantly – even in the rain! It reminds us that no matter what our circumstances; we can always find joy and choose to sing!

This commissioned artwork, depicts a bird family with different personalities & features, including the protective father in front, with deeper color hues & dark eyes searching the landscape for harm. The middle bird has a vibrant temperament & ruffled, curly feathers is next, & the little, shy youngest guy, hugs close to the fair-colored, Momma bird. The eldest, confident bird leads out in song to brighten the day. “Barn Swallow Praise” is perfect to hang in any environment, such as over the fireplace or above an interior door, to encourage us to have a joyful attitude throughout the day & feel revived knowing that God cares & provides for us at all times.
