This monochromatic sepia brown Original Art, created using Oil with palette knife on canvas board, was my very first painting! As a novice, unsure of my ability, I decided to camouflage out a tiny fisherman carrying his pole & overturned boat in the background. My husband convinced me to keep this "Winter Pond" landscape and many years later it sold for over $1,500 after my first Fine Art show & is still my best seller & everyone's favorite! The beauty of the freshly fallen snow over the stark, barren woods, illustrates the promise of forgiveness described in Isaiah 1:18, "Come now, let's settle this matter", says the Lord, though your sins are like scarlet, I will make them white as snow..."
