Being a "semi-perfectionist" artist has its downside of perceiving details & ruminating about what's wrong with everything. One of my favorite & most challenging scriptures encourages us to choose what our thoughts dwell on in (Philippians 4:7), "...Whatever is true, honorable, right, pure, lovely, & admirable - if anything is excellent or praiseworthy--think about such things." So, that's the main goal of my artwork, to create beautifuI visuals of things & scenes with uplifting messages. Then, I take it personaIly, a step further to memorize the message to keep it in my heart, sing it, & uplift my thoughts to have an attitude of gratitude all day! Here is another verse that inspired "Glorious Praise": "Sing the glory of His name. Make HIs praise glorious." (Psalm 66:2)
