Most of us want to be a "good-hearted" person, but the higher goal is to have an "Undivided Heart", which is about having pure motives, rather than selfish ones. So, I tried to create a sharp abstract visual with undefined, "gray" areas, to portray what a divided heart with mixed motives might look like.

If & when I honestly take the time to set goals & then evaluate them against how I actually spend my time, I often find a discrepancy between them. We may think that we truly love the Lord & others, but our real actions show we are in it for the money or mostly driven by our selfish desires. Since there are over 175 references about the HEART in God's Word, (involving all topics), it's obvious that He definitely wants us to get ours right! Hopefully, this Art Verse will challenge us to clean up our act, strive for this high calling of an "Undivided Heart" & stop having mixed motives that separate us from God & others. It could ultimately change the trajectory/course of our life!
